About Us

About Aurora Carpentry

Aurora Carpentry is a family-owned construction company based in Union, Missouri. We build, frame, roof, remodel, and repair for homeowners and businesses across Franklin, Gasconade, Warren, Crawford, Jefferson, and St. Louis Counties, all within about 50 miles of home.

We are Garrett and Gavin Wencker, two brothers and lifelong construction guys with more than ten years in the trade. Carpentry is what pulled us in, and bringing a client's project to life is still the best part of the job. We started Aurora Carpentry to run our work the way we always wanted to: high standards, the best materials, and honest communication.

What Sets Us Apart

Our mission is simple: build every project like it sits on our own property, explain every decision in plain terms, and leave you with work you are proud to show off, whether that is a new home, a new roof, or a deck out back.

Family Owned: Two brothers run every job, so the people you meet at the estimate are the same people who stand behind the finished work.
Best Materials: We use the best materials for the job, including Trex, TimberTech, and Fiberon on decks, because cheap materials cost you later.
High Standards: Every wall, roof, and board gets checked against our own standard before we call it done, not just against what passes.
Clear Communication: You get straight answers on scope, schedule, and changes, with updates as each phase wraps up, so nothing about your project surprises you.

I recently hired Aurora Carpentry LLC to repair a piece of fascia that had come loose on my roof, and I couldn't be happier with the service. They were friendly, professional, and arrived ready to get the job done. The repair was completed quickly and correctly, and their pricing was very reasonable. What I appreciated most was that they took the time to look over a few other items I had questions about and offered helpful suggestions without being pushy or trying to sell me additional work. It's refreshing to find a company that is honest, knowledgeable, and focused on helping their customers. I would definitely recommend Aurora Carpentry LLC to anyone looking for quality workmanship and excellent customer service, and I will not hesitate to use them again for future projects.
