Aurora Carpentry is owned by brothers Garrett and Gavin Wencker, who grew up in construction and never lost their love for carpentry. You get the owners on your job and straight answers on scope, materials, and schedule from the first call.
A new building is a long list of decisions, and you deserve to understand every one. We handle new building construction in Union for homes, shops, and commercial spaces, starting with a clear scope and a free estimate. From there our crew frames, dries in, and finishes the structure, keeping you updated as each phase wraps up. You always know what is happening, what comes next, and why it matters for the finished building.
Our work covers framing, home remodeling and renovation, roofing, custom home building, and composite deck building with Trex, TimberTech, and Fiberon composite boards. We also take on home additions, accessory and metal buildings, patios, drywall, exterior painting, structural repairs, demolition, excavation, and construction management. Homeowners and business owners both call us, and every project gets the same high standard of materials and workmanship.
We are based in Union and work within about 50 miles, from Washington, St. Clair, and Sullivan out to Hermann, Warrenton, Chesterfield, and Cedar Hill. That covers Franklin, Gasconade, Warren, Crawford, Jefferson, and St. Louis Counties in Missouri. What Good Framing Does for Your Home
Framing is the skeleton of every building, and every trade after it depends on it. When walls are square and floors are level, cabinets hang straight, doors close cleanly, drywall stays flat, and roof lines stay true. When framing is rushed, those problems show up later and cost more to fix.
We frame new homes, additions, garages, and commercial buildings, and we take framing-only jobs or carry a project through finish. Builders and general contractors bring us in as their framing crew, and homeowners hire us direct. Either way, you get two brothers who check layout before the first wall goes up, use quality lumber, and tell you right away if something on the plans needs a second look.
Composite Decks Built for Missouri
A composite deck gives you the look of wood without sanding and staining it every year. We build with Trex, TimberTech, and Fiberon, three brands with board lines in different colors, textures, and price points. We walk you through real samples and help you pick the board that fits your house, how you use the space, and your budget.
The boards are only half the job. The frame underneath carries the load, so we set footings properly, size joists and beams for the span, and flash the ledger to keep water away from your house. That hidden structure is where an okay deck and a great one part ways. Framing is our core trade, so it is the part of every deck we refuse to rush, even though you will never see it once the boards go down.
We build decks across Union, Washington, St. Clair, Eureka, Wildwood, and the rest of our Missouri service area. Send us a few photos of your yard or call for a free estimate, and we will come out, take measurements, and lay out your options in plain terms.
Our Recent Work
Tracy I.Verified Google Review
I recently hired Aurora Carpentry LLC to repair a piece of fascia that had come loose on my roof, and I couldn't be happier with the service. They were friendly, professional, and arrived ready to get the job done. The repair was completed quickly and correctly, and their pricing was very reasonable. What I appreciated most was that they took the time to look over a few other items I had questions about and offered helpful suggestions without being pushy or trying to sell me additional work. It's refreshing to find a company that is honest, knowledgeable, and focused on helping their customers. I would definitely recommend Aurora Carpentry LLC to anyone looking for quality workmanship and excellent customer service, and I will not hesitate to use them again for future projects.
